Props Lists
First I drafted the shape of the wing that looked like the costume rendering I had gotten from the Costume Designer.
Here are some of the cut out pieces of fabric. There were 3 layers of fabric to the wings.
Had someone hold up the wings to photograph. There is plastic tubing inserted into channels I had sewn.

Mustardseed's Fairy Wings
for A Midsummer's Nights Dream
The mouth is what we start with. It is a cardboard circle cut in half. We added duct tape to make it one piece and used foam pieces for finger holes. the Foam was cut out after I made a paper template first. I used 3 layers of glue (the yellow) to hold it together.
I lined the mouth with black fabric. THe front edges of the foam were glued right to the edge of the cardboard mouth piece.
He has glasses I made of wire and a fosshape hat and fosshape side curls called peyas.

Foam "Muppet Style" Puppet head
The puppet was our final project where we learned to cut foam and shape it to glue it together. I chose to make an Orthodox Hassidic Jew puppet head.
Fake Food
I chose to make sushi rolls for my fake food project. I also made a lemon slice, ginger. and wasabi to go with it. The sushi has carrots, cucumbers, and crabmeat. The meat on the rice is salmon tuna and white fish. I also made green tea with food coloring and created a tea packet.
The rice and raw fish were made out of clay, real uncooked rice was stuck and glued to it. I used foam to make the lemon slice and covered it with glue and paint. The ginger i made out of a fake flower petal with clear gloss spray paint. The wasabi was out of more clay and painted. I also made the wooded serving tray as well.
I am most familiar with immitation crab meat, so i used foam pieces and painted them to look like the sushi I love to eat on campus.
I found Japanese tea and made myself a tea packet. I also made a paste for soy sauce and dribbled it over my sushi rolls.

Fake Blood Recipes
I made an edible blood recipe out of food coloring and chocolate syrup.
I made washable blood out of dark pink dawn dish soap and food coloring.
(sock after being washed)
Fosshape Hat
I used fosshape to make a cloche hat. I cut, sewed, and heated it to form into a hat. Then I spray painted it.
I used muslin to create a shape for the gathering to the front of the hat.
Here is the pattern piece I made of muslin then copied onto the fosshape.
The hat fits!

Props List for A Glass Menagerie
We read the script and created an Excel spreadsheet Props List.
We then researched some specific props and made a PowerPoint of our findings.
